Cari lettori e care lettrici, benvenuti ad un altro appuntamento della rubrica #ABugsLife. Parlando della possibile introduzione di modelli maschili nel mondo di Covet Fashion, abbiamo citato figure come le Drag Queen: belle, sensuali, ironiche e divertenti... tutti vorrebbero vederle esibirsi! Ce ne sono di tutti i tipi: reginette di bellezza, regine della commedia, clown (tanto per citare la simpaticissima Bianca Del Rio). Alcuni di voi sapranno che esistono svariati programmi TV a tema, tra cui la RuPaul's Drag Race, che io seguo assiduamente e grazie alla quale mi faccio grosse risate. Le varie sfidanti sono bravissime ad insultarsi affettuosamente, nel gergo sono delle "shady bitch". Uno dei temi più ricorrenti su cui ironizzare è il make-up: ci vuole una grande maestria per poter modificare quasi completamente i propri connotati: contouring, correzioni, supporti in silicone... c'è del lavoro incredibile dietro! Una delle Queen più criticate per il suo contouring è Coco Montrese, diventata un'icona perché utilizza dei prodotti letteralmente ARANCIONI. Ora, non so se mai potremo creare delle Drag come si deve, ma se ciò non dovesse accadere e dovremo creare una sfida in Drag con le modelle femminili, prego Covet di buggarsi di nuovo così.
Dear readers, welcome to another appointment of the #ABugsLife column. Talking about the possible introduction of male models in the world of Covet Fashion, we mentioned figures such as Drag Queens: stunning, sensual, ironic and funny... everyone would like to see them perform! There are all kinds of them: Beauty Queens, Comedy Queens, Pageant Queens, Clowns (just to mention the very nice Bianca Del Rio). Some of you will know that there are several themed TV shows, including RuPaul's Drag Race, which I follow assiduously and thanks to which I get big laughs. The various challengers are very good at insulting each other affectionately, in the jargon they are "shady bitches". One of the most recurring themes on which to mock is the make-up: it takes a great mastery to be able to modify almost completely its own connotations: contouring, corrections, silicone supports... there's incredible work behind it! One of the Queen most criticized for her contouring is Coco Montrese, who has become an icon because she uses literally ORANGE products.
